Note 1: Article 89, Section 8 of the Judges Act states that the rules for disciplinary cases involving judges apply mutatis mutandis to the disciplinary cases involving prosecutors.
Note 2: The types of sanctions are:
(1) The position as a judge is deprived and the person cannot be hired as a civil servant again.
(2) The current position is deprived and the person cannot be hired as a civil servant within a period set between one year and five years.
(3) The position as a judge is deprived, and the person is moved to positions in the government other than a judge.
(4) The ordinary pension and the special pension for judges are deprived; or only the special pension for judges is deprived.
(5) The amount of ordinary pension and the special pension for judges is decreased by a percentage between 10% and 20%.
(6) Civil penalty: The amount ranges from one month’s salary to one year’s salary. If the judge disciplined is retired, then the amount of monthly salary is determined by the amount of monthly salary immediately prior to his or her retirement.
(7) Warning that the disciplined act or omission not be committed again.
